Delete your data

Last updated 6 August 2026

The fastest way is to uninstall. Koala Lingo keeps your progress on your device first. Deleting the app removes everything held locally, immediately. The form below is for the copy held on our servers.

What we hold, and what gets deleted

Koala Lingo has no sign-up. The app creates an anonymous account on first launch, and your learning is stored against that identifier and nothing else. There is no name, no email address and no phone number attached to it.

A deletion request removes all of it:

Your subscription is handled by Apple or Google, not by us, so cancelling it is done in your App Store or Google Play settings. Deleting your learning data does not cancel a subscription, and cancelling a subscription does not delete your data.

Ask for deletion

Open the app, go to Profile, and copy the account identifier shown there. Without it we cannot tell which anonymous account is yours, and we will have to ask you for it.

Found in the app under Profile. Paste it here.

This opens your email app with the request ready to send. If nothing happens, write to contact@koalalingo.com.

What happens next

We confirm by email that the request arrived, and the data is removed within 30 days. We keep no backup copy beyond that period.

If you keep using the app afterwards, it will simply start a new anonymous account, as it does on a fresh install.
